About the Role :
The Executive Chef is responsible for all aspects of SRV’s culinary operations, providing leadership and strategic direction to ensure excellence in food quality, team development, and financial performance. This role oversees all kitchen management, while driving menu development, operational efficiency, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor the Chef de Cuisine, sous chefs, and the entire kitchen team to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Oversee and drive menu development, ensuring innovation, seasonality, and alignment with SRV’s culinary identity.
- Develop and implement training programs that enhance the skills of kitchen staff, particularly in dish creation and execution.
- Ensure that financial targets are met, including food cost, labor cost, and overall prime cost management.
- Collaborate with ownership and front-of-house leadership to increase revenue and profitability through menu optimization, efficiency improvements, and strategic initiatives.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and kitchen operations.
- Participate and collaborate on all PR and marketing opportunities including social media.
- Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations, kitchen cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
