Job Details
Job Title: Principal Ariba Business Architect
Location: On-site in Oakland, CA (2-3 days per week)
Duration: 6-9 months, Contract
Local Candidates: Strong preference for Bay Area locals

Qualifications:
- EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS (verbal and written)
- Strong Ariba expertise (Pricing, Buying & Invoicing, Contract Management, Performance Management, Supply Chain Collaboration)
- Must be a technical consultant with PM experience
- Proven leadership experience, preferably with a project management background
- Strong time management skills; ability to prioritize work efficiently, meet deadlines, and implement preventative actions
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally within a geographically dispersed team
- Strong presentation skills to align teams effectively
- Ability to create and execute implementation plans
Responsibilities:
- Lead teams in implementing process and system improvements
- Facilitate team meetings with business stakeholders
- Explain new Ariba features and their benefits to PG&E
- Analyze quarterly Ariba releases and create roadmaps for implementation
- Communicate roadmaps to teams, ensuring understanding of changes
- Bridge communication between technical and business teams
- Assess business processes, identify pain points, and define action plans for change
