Job Overview : Responsible for new customer acquisitions, selling complex technological services and products to customers across the USA from niche industry segments such as Industrial Automation, Process Automation, Oil and Gas, and Building Automation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Make custom technical presentations on Softdels services and product / solution demos.
- Understand problem statements and requirements from customers' technical teams to define solutions and approaches involving Softdels products.
- Use technical skills to explain the benefits of Softdels products and services, highlighting key differentiation factors.
- Schedule and lead discovery phases and whiteboarding sessions with customers for next-gen end-to-end IoT and digital solution definitions.
- Create techno-commercial proposals and work closely with multiple stakeholders.
- Be the custodian of the proposal, closing deals and negotiations (pricing, technical solution, contractual terms).
- Consult customers to ensure they fully utilize and adopt Softdels complex and technical solutions / products around connectivity technologies and edge (AI and ML) analysis.
- Manage key customer accounts / engagements and define and execute strategies for key accounts to grow horizontally and vertically.
- Attend trade shows, seminars, industry conferences, and events.
- Assist product management in defining product sales strategy and go-to-market (GTM) plans.
- Conduct weekly and monthly management reporting with CRM (Salesforce) experience.
- Travel throughout the USA to meet customers for all the above activities, including attending industry-specific trade shows, seminars, conferences, and events.
Minimum Requirements :
Travel Requirements : Frequency of travel would be approximately 1 week (5 days) per month for business meetings with existing customers and new prospects.
