Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Façade Design Manager to oversee the design, coordination, and implementation of façade systems across various projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of façade engineering, materials, and construction methods, as well as a passion for delivering innovative and functional designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Management :

Lead the development and coordination of façade design, ensuring alignment with architectural intent, engineering standards, and project requirements.

  • Manage the design process from concept to completion, including detailed design, performance specifications, and technical submissions.
  • Team Coordination :

    • Collaborate with internal teams, architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of façade systems with the overall project.

  • Supervise and mentor a team of designers, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Technical Expertise :

    • Evaluate and select appropriate materials, systems, and technologies for façade design.

  • Ensure compliance with structural, thermal, acoustic, and safety performance standards.
  • Project Management :

    • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery.

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for façade-related challenges.
  • Stakeholder Communication :

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all façade-related matters, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

  • Present design concepts and technical details to stakeholders, providing clear explanations and recommendations.

    • Requirements

  • A degree in Architecture, Civil / Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in façade design, engineering, or construction.
  • Proven track record of managing complex façade projects, preferably in commercial or high-rise construction.
  • Strong knowledge of façade materials (glass, aluminium, cladding, etc.), systems, and relevant codes / standards.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and façade-specific tools like Rhino or Grasshopper.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
