The Kitchen Manager plays a key role in delivering SSA's 452 Hospitality Program by ensuring operational excellence and fostering an inclusive, sustainable, and innovative kitchen environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee all back-of-house kitchen operations.
- Support crossover responsibilities with Restaurant Manager and GM, such as beverage and supply ordering, inventory participation, and maintaining seasonal pars.
- Ensure proper food prep, quality, and food safety compliance.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, inventory, and staffing.
- Order all kitchen-related items and manage pars.
- Assist Restaurant Manager and GM with inventory and crossover tasks.
- Train and coach BOH team, ensuring high standards.
- Understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation.
- Food preparation and ordering systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Three years of kitchen supervisory experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting with high guest volume.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with Florida law for handling, serving, and overseeing alcohol operations in a bar or restaurant setting.
- Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.; must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Willingness to work a variable schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of health department and food safety compliance standards.
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Must possess or obtain any required culinary certifications or food safety credentials.
- Full-Time, non-exempt.
- Eligible for overtime pay.
- Vacation or Time Away From Work (TAFW) plan: up to 144 hours based on tenure.

Salary : $20 - $22
