Position Overview:
We are looking for talented and dedicated Seasonal Tax & Accounting Associates to join our team at SSC Advisors, Inc. and SSC CPAs P.A.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of tax experience in public accounting, with proven proficiency in preparing tax returns. Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills are essential, along with excellent time management and dedication to client service. While team-oriented, candidates should also be capable of working independently. Exhibiting the core values of integrity, accountability, leadership, and professionalism is crucial. Experience with Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax/Accounting CS is a plus, and a strong working knowledge of general accounting systems, QuickBooks, and the technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance is required.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include preparing and, depending on qualifications, reviewing tax returns, as well as responding to IRS and state tax notices.
