Account Executive – Medical Device Sales (Hospital)
Position Overview : We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Account Executive to join our SSCOR team and sell our medical devices within hospital settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for increasing product sales, building relationships with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the successful adoption and implementation of our medical devices within hospital environments.
Sales & Account Management :
Identify and prospect potential hospital clients, including clinical staff, biomedical engineers, and hospital administrators.
Conduct in-depth product presentations and demonstrations (in person and virtual) to healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
Maintain and manage an existing customer base, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Product Knowledge & Education :
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s medical devices, their features, benefits, and clinical applications.
Educate healthcare professionals and hospital staff on product usage, benefits, and safety.
Provide clinical and technical support to ensure proper usage of products.
Relationship Building :
Build and foster strong relationships with key hospital stakeholders, including doctors, nurses, administrators, and other healthcare professionals.
Attend and participate in hospital meetings, conferences, and medical seminars to stay informed on industry trends and to build a customer network.
Sales Reporting & Documentation :
Track sales activities, leads, opportunities, and customer interactions using Hubspot.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to the Director of Sales.
Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, technical support, customer service, etc.) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Market Insight :
Stay informed about industry changes, market demands, and new technologies related to medical devices.
Gather and share feedback from customers on product performance and potential improvements with Research and Development, Quality and Marketing.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree.
5 years previous experience in medical device sales, preferably in a hospital or clinical environment.
Strong knowledge of hospital operations, purchasing processes, and the healthcare industry.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales goals.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn new product offerings quickly.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as virtual meeting applications, Sage and Hubspot.
