SSD Alarm is seeking a dynamic and polished professional for the Receptionist / Accounting Assistant position at our office in Anaheim, CA. This is a fast-paced position with a high volume of incoming calls that requires the ability to multi-task without supervision. This individual will be the first point of contact, strong communication skills and a high level of professionalism is required. Duties include managing a busy switch board with multiple phone lines, screening visitors, and handling incoming mail.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Manage busy switchboard to include several divisions of the company and out of state branch offices
  • Maintain a professional work environment at all times and comply with the company's dress code policy; uphold organizational values
  • Demonstrate prompt and consistent attendance
  • Team player, dealing effectively with co-workers and internal clients at all levels; treats people with respect, work ethically and with integrity
  • Perform administrative duties (emailing, filing, sorting mail, copying and scanning) in an efficient and timely manner
  • Complete various general office tasks for correspondence and/or reports
  • Thorough understanding of management procedures; ability to plan Company activities; initiative to organize various functions
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Complete projects, as requested

Requirements

  • Previous experience preferred, but not required, as a multi-line switchboard operator with high call volume
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (spelling, grammar and punctuation)
  • Customer service oriented
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and any business unit specific required software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
