SpecPro Sustainment & Environmental is seeking a Land Surveyor to conduct boundary and real estate surveys and develop accurate mapping products that support real estate acquisition, management, and disposal actions. The Land Surveyor will be responsible for performing fieldwork, creating detailed survey maps, and reviewing mapping products to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a thorough understanding of CADD and GIS methods and principles and possession of an active surveyor license in one of the states or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

Duties/Responsibilities:
The Land Surveyor will be responsible for conducting boundary and real estate surveys, performing field data collection, and preparing survey and mapping products that meet real estate acquisition, management, and disposal requirements. This includes reviewing survey and mapping products created by others for accuracy and technical acceptability. The role requires expertise in CADD and GIS methodologies to analyze spatial data and develop precise survey outputs. The Land Surveyor will collaborate with real estate and engineering teams to ensure compliance with state and federal survey standards and provide technical oversight in mapping and geospatial data integration. Additionally, the position requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of surveying techniques, legal boundary definitions, and industry regulations to support land acquisition and management efforts effectively.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in conducting boundary and real estate surveys.
Strong knowledge of surveying principles, mapping techniques, and geospatial analysis.
Ability to create, review, and validate survey and mapping products for technical accuracy.
Proficiency in CADD and GIS methods and ability to integrate geospatial data into survey work.
Experience working with real estate acquisition, management, and disposal surveys.
Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with legal survey standards.
Effective communication and collaboration skills with real estate and engineering teams..
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum ten (10) years of experience in land surveying and mapping.
Possession of an active surveyor license in one of the states or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
Experience using CADD and GIS software to analyze and create mapping products.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform fieldwork for extended periods, including working outdoors in various conditions.
Ability to conduct surveying measurements and data collection using industry-standard equipment.
Capability to travel as needed for project site assessments and survey activities.
Work Environment:
Primarily operates in an outdoor field setting with some office-based tasks.
May involve exposure to various terrains, weather conditions, and physical site inspections.
Collaboration with engineers, real estate professionals, and geospatial analysts in a team-based environment.
