Description
Key Duties / Responsibilities
The Security Guard will man a guard station and control access to the facility.
- Monitors activity around the plant entrance; reports suspicious activities to local authorities
- Monitors surveillance cameras, inspects property, and monitors crowds
- Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency
- Checks inbound / outbound trucks in / out
- Monitors temperatures of reefer trailers in the yard
- Check reefer trailer fuel levels and refill as needed
- Monitors and controls visitors to the plant
- May be asked to Investigate reports of suspicious activity on the property
- Performs other related duties as assigned
