Role Summary:
As a Principal Engineer on the MuleSoft platform team, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, and developing robust software programs and systems. Your expertise will be crucial in leading the design and implementation of API tooling and frameworks, enhancing APIs and integrations across the organization. You will serve as a subject matter expert, mentor team members, and ensure the development of reusable, scalable, and high-performance solutions. This role offers significant business impact as the organization drives innovation and transformation, delivering increased value to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Development & Design:Design, program, build, deploy, and maintain software applications and systems, including databases, cloud, and operating systems.
- Analyze and modify existing software, as well as design, construct, and test new programs and systems.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle, from requirements analysis to design and implementation.
- API & Integration Leadership:Lead the design and implementation of API tooling and frameworks.
- Enhance APIs and integrations across the organization, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow.
- Technical Documentation & Support:Write detailed technical specifications based on conceptual designs and business requirements.
- Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
- Analyze code to identify and resolve errors, revising programs as needed.
- Technology Evaluation & Innovation:Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
