What are the responsibilities and job description for the Right-of-Way Agent position at SSi People?
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for acquiring rights of way, temporary workspace, access, and performing permitting functions from private, local, state and federal agencies, as needed, for field engineering and operation projects within an assigned location
- Support Operations and Field Engineering Projects by acting as the Company’s liaison with landowners
- Research and locate easement agreements on existing assets and provide information related to existing rights to Operations, Engineering, etc. and/or landowners
- Prepare and maintain multiple reports related to project status, easement rights, title updates, landowner claims
- Maintain digital file related to each project and/or task
- Prepare and negotiate legal agreements associated with real property
- Identify and investigate, negotiate, settle, and issue checks for damage claims
- Represent the Company in public meetings and legal proceedings (Zoning and Planning Boards; County Commissioners Hearings)
Qualifications:
- Significant experience using Microsoft suite applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Active TREC Right of Way Agent License or TREC Real Estate Broker license.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Google Earth and/or GIS applications.
- Experience reading pipeline alignment sheets.
- Experience with using or searching through databases.
Pay range: - $45/hr - $47/hr W2.
Salary : $40 - $45
