What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Electrical Engineer position at SSi People?
Job Description:
The Electrical Core Design Team Engineers design large-scale test systems that are essentially the breadboarded versions of the electronics that are installed on an airplane. The main goal of these systems is to verify the electrical design of the suite of electrical equipment that gets installed on an airplane before it ever gets built into an aircraft. Any of the design issues that are found and fixed in the lab translate to huge downstream cost savings for the company and help make our products safe.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study in Electrical Engineering
• 5 years of experience in engineering, including design, integration, and/or certification or equivalent combination of additional education and relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Experience in the use of computer-aided design and simulation tools
• Experience interacting with customers to coordinate testing requirements and schedule Demonstrates good problem-solving skills and critical thinking
• Experience with Raspberry Pi, C#, and/or Visual Basic Script
Salary : $80 - $85
