Job Title: Field Service Technician II
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician II to join our dynamic team. With over 35 years in the industry, we specialize in designing and building equipment that blends function, durability, sanitary design, safety, and performance. As part of our Parts and Service team, you'll help us provide top-notch service to our customers through equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient TIG welding for machinery repairs and maintenance.
- Domestic and international travel (up to 70% of the time).
- Participate in Quality Assurance (QA) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) on customer equipment before shipping.
- Provide documentation, install, maintain, repair, assemble, and inspect machinery.
- Perform on-site installation, start-up, training, repairs, and mechanical maintenance.
- Train staff and operators on the proper use of machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and electronic issues.
- Test and maintain commercial and industrial food equipment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through effective communication (both verbal and written).
Requirements:
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and early mornings, based on customer and operational needs.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Must be able to obtain or already possess a passport for travel.
- A strong desire to work hands-on and solve problems.
