We are looking for a skilled and creative Jewelry Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting beautiful bead jewelry and necklaces, engraving pieces, and ensuring that all jewelry is packed properly for shipping. You will work with various materials to create high-quality, custom designs while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bead Jewelry Creation: Design and create unique bead jewelry, including necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other custom pieces.
- Necklace Assembly: Cut, thread, and assemble beads to create visually appealing and high-quality necklaces and other jewelry items.
- Jewelry Engraving: Operate engraving tools to add custom inscriptions, designs, or logos to various jewelry pieces.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all pieces meet high-quality standards, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Packing: Carefully pack completed jewelry for shipment, ensuring items are secure and well-presented.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, other jewelers, and the production team to meet project deadlines and client specifications.
- Maintenance: Keep workspaces and tools organized and maintained for efficient production.
- Inventory Management: Track and manage bead and jewelry supplies, notifying management when stock is low.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a jewelry maker or similar role (preferred, but not required).
- Ability to work with a variety of jewelry-making materials, including beads, metals, and engraving tools.
- Attention to detail and the ability to create intricate designs.
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- A passion for creativity and craftsmanship.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods while working.
- Ability to use fine tools and handle delicate jewelry with precision.
