It is one of the largest employers in every community it serves. We are seeking a Human Resources Compliance Specialist with immigration experience to join our team of professionals. About Us: Our Heritage of Healing https://www.ssmhealth.com/resources/about/mission-vision-values/our-heritage?_ga=2.75080914.1561931183.1669043965-686953804.1661269955 Works collaboratively with employees, leaders and Market HR to ensure all regulatory requirements are met and all employee records are up-to-date throughout the lifecycle of an employee. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Supports the adherence of employee compliance standards for SSM Health. Possesses a working knowledge of HR compliance items that the Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory boards require from an HR related perspective. Utilizes systematic methodology and standardized recorded compliance expectations to ensure all team members are documented in compliance with current standards and processes. Assists with development and revision of organizational Policies and Procedures to ensure compliance with employment regulations. Ensures all licensures/certification, education requirements and renewals have been reviewed and source verified in a timely manner. Serves as point of contact for Market HR regarding laws and regulations pertaining to employee compliance inquiries; maintains a state of readiness for TJC surveys. Performs auditing on compliance pieces related to new hire Onboarding team.  Shares findings with Onboarding leaders to address errors in a timely fashion and ensure compliance. Assists in process improvements related to regulatory requirements and employee compliance. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. EXPERIENCE One-year experience in related field. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors. Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. Frequent keyboard use/data entry. Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping. Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs. Rare climbing. EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full_time
