About the Job
We're seeking an experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) team at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - St. Louis. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure, providing quality images for interpretation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex studies and assist in a variety of imaging procedures.
- Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
- Ensure equipment is properly functioning and report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure prompt submission of all high-quality images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, images labeled correctly, and patient data/history).
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or completion of a Sonography certification program.
- No experience required.
