Job Summary
As a licensed practical nurse at SSM Health, you will provide care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, functioning within the scope of your license. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to patient assessments and ensure the well-being of patients.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families about disease treatment plans, self-care post-discharge, holistic health needs, available resources, and follow-up care.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and maintain a safe work environment.
- May perform point-of-care testing according to policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education for licensing.
