Clean patient rooms, offices, classrooms, work areas, and public spaces as assigned, adhering to established processes and standards. This role involves handling laundry, cleaning various surfaces, and ensuring a safe environment by following safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, classrooms, and public areas according to policies and procedures.
- Handle all laundry items by sorting and placing them in proper containers.
- Perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, vacuuming, hard surface floor cleaning, stripping, refinishing, and carpet cleaning, which may require the use of mechanical equipment.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Replenish supplies and materials in assigned areas and patient rooms.
Working Conditions:
- Constant standing and walking.
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent reaching and gripping.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near and far.
- Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
