Performs analysis and reporting regarding financial operations and information.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

2. Serves as subject matter and technical expert in the use of the nThrive Contact Manager analysis software tool.
3. Coordinates and collaborates with nThrive personnel and SSM IHT staff to ensure optimal performance of the nThrive tool. Serves as liaison between SSM Health managed care and nThrive. Provides updated contract information to nThrive timely to ensure system is regularly updated for the enterprise.
4. Run and analyze reports to model managed care contracts and works with the PBS and SSM managed care representatives to provide payor analytics. Escalates payor challenges to senior PBS, managed care, and finance leaders, as necessary.
5. Communicate contract issues and opportunities to managed care and finance leaders to ensure payor deficiencies can be addressed via contract negotiation. Participate in such negotiations or other payor meetings as requested.
6. Immediately notifies Fee Analyst/Pricing Coordinator of any reimbursements at “the lower of” to ensure the SSM fee schedules are promptly updated to ensure full capture of contracted reimbursement rates.
7. Is watchful for special billing issues and trends and shares with supervisor, managers, and team members to facilitate root cause analysis and continuous process improvement.
8. Works collaboratively with other PBS and finance departments to share feedback and ensure high functioning revenue cycle processes.
9. Performs any special assignments, as requested.

- Bachelor's degree
EXPERIENCE
- Four to seven years' experience required
