Role: Enterprise Architect/AWS Security - Hybrid Location: Richmond, VA. Duration: Long Term
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a robust security architecture for our AWS environment, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, data protection, and threat detection.
- Strong understanding of AWS security services, including IAM, KMS, VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, WAF, Shield, Inspector, GuardDuty, and Macie
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive migration strategy to seamlessly transition our on-premises servers and applications to the AWS cloud.
- Experience with cloud migration strategies and tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including routing, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline).
- Certification in AWS Security Specialty is a plus
