The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

Responsibilities
The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
- Completes entry level assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities.
- Applies academic knowledge and training in the use of various building materials and systems.
- Works under the direction of a project architect; receives specific and detailed instruction as to required tasks and results.
- Performs elementary architectural assignments and generally works from designs of others, compiles data, performs simple design studies and evaluations, estimates quantity take-offs, and assists in preparation of cost estimates with increasing responsibility based on performance.
- Drafts own and others designs into completed working drawings.
- May be assisted by a CADD designer but usually assumes no responsibility for direction of others.
- Travel required.
- Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.
- Bachelor of Architecture Degree or Master of Architecture Degree required
- License track preferred
- With little or no practical working experience.
- Exceptions may be based upon equivalencies.
