The position is an onsite role in Columbia, SC that can eventually turn into a hybrid work setting. The following duties are typical of the position but are not all-encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
- Support Commercial Developments: Applies design fundamentals to total systems or sub-systems. Interpret and utilize basic topographic information.
- Review and Address Comments: Address red lines and review comments. Review existing utilities and grading information on as-recorded documents.
- Site Development: Perform site development construction drawings to include site layout, grading, water, sewer, and storm drainage.
- Project Details: Develop project details, prepare selections, and adapt to alternatives.
- Design Calculations: Perform storm water and sanitary sewer design calculations.
- Technical Supervision: Works under technical supervision with effort occasionally checked during progress and reviewed upon completion.
- Travel: Some travel required.
- Competitive Salary: $65,000 - $75,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and certifications.

Who We Need:
- Educational Background: Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Certification: EIT preferred.
- Professional Experience: 2 years of Civil Engineering experience with site land development; layout, grading, drainage, utility design, and erosion control in commercial markets.
- Technical Skills: Experience using AutoCAD is required and experience with Civil 3D is preferred.
- Flexibility: This position requires someone to come into the office everyday.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
