About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our technology projects at SSP Innovations. This role requires a highly skilled professional with a strong background in project management and customer-facing leadership.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the project management office (PMO) to ensure compliance with project management methodologies and processes.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience managing external customer-facing projects specific to software implementations, information technology, and/or professional services.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Customer-facing leadership acumen with the ability to work and interact directly with clients independently and autonomously.
- Direct experience with financial management of budget, hours tracking, and invoicing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated advanced project risk analysis and mitigation experience.
- Problem-solving capabilities, flexible, and able to handle multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Extensive MS Project experience.
- PMI PMBOK understanding and PMI PMP certification is a differentiator.
