Litigation Paralegal
SSP Law is looking for a full-time Litigation Paralegal to join our team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide litigation support to assigned attorneys, including document organization and review; preparation of form and initial discovery; medical record and financial record summaries; document preparation for depositions, hearings, and trial
- Prepare initial drafts of pleadings, discovery and discovery objections;
- Capable of making electronic (and paper) filings with all state courts, federal courts, and all state and federal agencies and commissions.
- Maintain good relations with clients, opposing counsel and court
- Organize and maintain electronic and paper correspondence and files
- Coordinate calendars, tasks lists and schedules, including monitoring of all deadlines and providing ample notice to the attorneys
- Draft, review, and proofread correspondence
- Analyze and organize information for reports
- Correspond with and schedule court reporters, videographers, and other vendors as necessary
- Research public records and laws via Lexis Nexis and Internet searches
- Prepare medical release forms and request medical records
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 2 years of litigation experience preferred
- Strong grammatical knowledge (e.g. structure of formal correspondence)
- Extensive attention to detail
- Addresses all projects and tasks with a sense of urgency
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software from the Microsoft suite of products
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Advanced organization skills and attention to detail
