The Job
- Performs security duty to protect company premises and property from unauthorized entry or theft using visual observation and cameras.
- Provides security for store staff and assets during store opening and closing according to the organisation’s global standards.
- Maintains a post or security checkpoint. Greats visitors / clients and provides a high level of customer service.
- Communicates well with sales and administrative staff.
- Safeguards store and offices by escorting visitors and monitoring outsider’s activities.
- Logs in outside contractors.
- Maintain security logs, records and reports of occurrences; input or retrieve data on the computer.
- Provides a security presence for the building or a section of the building.
- Ensure proper functioning of store security equipment.
- Prevents damage to property.
- Provides security escort for staff and clients, and at offsite events.
- Controls access to the salon by monitoring the front entrance. Ensures the safety of all staff.
- Observes activity in the store. Regular reporting to Head of Security.
- Able to work outside of regular duty hours such as evenings, weekends and holidays as well as travel occasionally.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
