Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Training Program Manager to join our team at SST Direct in Beltsville, MD.
Salary: The salary for this position is estimated to be between $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate instructors and provide feedback to improve teaching skills.
- Support peers with using the core application and maintain accurate class and student records.
- Develop and pilot new construction-related curriculum.
- Participate in coverage of classes when instructors are unavailable.
- Analyze and recommend improvements to training workflow and processes.
- Assist in administering and overseeing all training programs.
- Examine course curriculum to ensure continuity in student progress.
- Routinely visit off-site training locations to evaluate program compliance.
- Participate in continuing professional development.
Requirements:
- 5 years' experience in a construction-related field.
- 3 years' experience teaching adult learners in a vocational curriculum.
- Direct hands-on or trainer-level experience in a standard construction trade.
- NCCER Certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with FlashPoint Construction Education Application.
- Strong team-player with skills to work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and online conferencing platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong detail-orientation and ability to cross-check data.
- Reliable transportation required for site evaluations (approximately 20% of the time).
