Seeking an Electrical Apprentice with a CDL A License for a direct hire opportunity with our client in St. Augustine, FL.

Salary is between $22- $28 per hour (based on experience).
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain construction equipment, including derrick diggers, dump trailers, and flatbed trailers.
- Perform hand digging and manual labor as required for electrical construction projects.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of traffic signals, highway lighting, and other electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, conduits, and electrical control panels.
- Transport materials and equipment to job sites using company vehicles.
- Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and report to the foreman or project manager.
- Handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working in extreme weather conditions.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform physical labor and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to commute to the St. Augustine office and job sites within a 60-mile radius.
- Availability for early morning shifts starting at 6:30 AM.
- Experience with heavy construction equipment and electrical systems preferred.
- Electrical journeyman's card or equivalent experience is a huge plus!
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Ability to work with high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Familiarity with using electrical testing equipment and tools.
