Responsibilities:
- Manage, train, and motivate route sales, counter, warehouse, and delivery personnel
- Oversee department training, team reviews, and staff development
- Schedule and lead product training for employees and customers
- Handle estimating, quoting, and purchasing functions
- Follow up on delinquent orders and ensure timely completion
- Oversee warehouse operations and parts showroom
- Manage year-end inventory and audits
- Build and promote customer relationships
- Set and achieve department sales and profit goals
- Maximize profit margins and control department expenses
- Develop strong relationships with key customers and vendors
- Share new product features with customers to drive sales
- Manage sales data, reporting, and store-level execution of standards
- Assist with building maintenance and collaborate with other department managers
- Heavy-duty truck parts experience (required)
- Previous parts experience (required)
- Prior management experience (preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and employee management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to walk, sit, stand for extended periods
- Driving is a duty valid driver’s license (required)
