Direct Hire: Union Paving Foreman
Join a 100% Employee-Owned construction company in the San Francisco Bay area as a Union Paving Foreman! We’re looking for a skilled leader with experience in civil construction, construction safety, highway engineering, and road construction. As the Paving Foreman, you will plan, coordinate, and manage the onsite paving crew (asphalt/blacktop) to achieve maximum productivity while keeping within budget. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to effectively lead a diverse team. Assistance with union entry is available.
Salary: $124,800 - $145,600 per year (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Benefits: Full benefits package provided
**Company vehicle provided or $1,200 vehicle allowance and gas card**
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise progress at paving/road construction sites
- Serve as the link between workers and supervisors
- Plan and schedule daily paving work
- Assign tasks to field employees
- Ensure proper machinery usage on-site
- Ensure timely project completion
- Implement health and safety protocols
- Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience as a Paving Foreman
- In-depth knowledge of job sites, crews, heavy civil construction, and paving
