- Shift Time/Overtime: 40 hours a week with overtime as needed; will be placed on an on-call schedule once trained
- Pay: $35-55/H based on experience.
Responsibilities of the Field Service Pump Mechanic:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose root-cause problems for centrifugal or rotating pumps
- Arranges necessary parts and service to resolve issues
- Responsible for completing all tasks from installation, startup, scheduled maintenance, functional & performance testing, training, project closeout, and warranty transition.
- Check all equipment after installation and prior to start-up of pumps and associated equipment
- Get service tickets signed by appropriate company representative before leaving location.
- Works with customer to understand equipment issues.
Qualifications of the Field Service Pump Mechanic:
- 3-5 years pump experience
- Experience with rotating equipment repair
- Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines
- Must be willing to work off-site as well as the shop
- Experience with vibration and alignment tools
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Be able to work outside field jobs; extreme cold/heat
- High School Diploma required
