Seeking a Senior Engineer and Manager to lead Construction Inspection and Testing services in the North Jersey/New York City area. This is a direct hire position based out of East Hanover, NJ

Salary is between $100,000 - $165,000 per year (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Operational responsibility for construction materials testing laboratory.
- Manage Special Inspections and Construction Materials Testing services in the field.
- Business development and proposals.
- Work with other project engineers, including geotechnical, structural and civil engineers.
- Manage projects and clients.
- Materials/systems includes:
- Reinforced concrete
- Bituminous concrete
- Soils and aggregate
- Structural steel
- Engineered masonry
- Manage staffing with workload to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Staffing and personnel.
- Project management, including invoicing and accounts receivable.
Qualifications:
- BS in Civil Engineering or related degree
- EIT and/or PE license
- Related certifications, such as NJDCA, ACI, ICC, AWS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to multi-task.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Critical thinking. Able to diagnose and solve problems.
- Capable with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Able to effectively manage multiple direct reports.
