Job Description:
SSTAR has openings for Housekeepers, 30 hours/week, $16.70/hour with the following Shift: 12:00pm-6:00pm. The housekeeping staff will need to perform the following duties in all units and SSTAR locations and will assume the assigned duties of absentee housekeeping staff. The following duties will be:
- Empty trash
- Sweep, vacuum, and wash floors
- Clean bathrooms, kitchen, and TV room.
- Dust and wipe surfaces (as per biohazard protocols when appropriate)
- Refill dispensers (bleach bottles, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.)
- Perform specific cleaning duties as outlined in cleaning schedule for assigned areas.
- Maintain supplies of cleaning chemicals and other supplies.
- Keep carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Ensures that safety hazards are eliminated as identified
- Spot Clean Walls as needed.
- Fill in for various shifts when Housekeeping staff is on vacation or on leave.
- Other Duties as Required
Experience and Skills:
- Experience in cleaning.
- Dependable.
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
- Perform tasks requiring repetitive bending and repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.
