The Security Staff is responsible for the overall security of Inpatient and Ambulatory buildings and grounds while on duty. We are looking for multiple shifts, which include weekends.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Controls entrance to building, insuring only authorized personnel. Ensures all persons sign in upon entering and sign confidentiality form if entering residential units.
- Assist front office staff with answering phones.
- Monitors any activity outside buildings to ensure security. Tours exterior of buildings and parking areas repeatedly during shift.
- Assists staff in the event of any emergencies.
- Assist front office staff with drop offs and taking client information.
- Make rounds regularly.
- Assist with discharges from unit and escort client off property when administratively discharged.
- Records any unusual events or circumstances also; making sure incident reports are filled out correctly. Communicates with on-call staff when necessary.
- Snow removal as needed. Keeps entrance ways accessible and free of hazards especially during inclement weather including snow and debris removal
- Able to lift 40lbs.
- Monitor security cameras for entire property.
- Assisting with parking lot duties.
- Other duties as required.
Experience and Skills:
Education & Experience
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- At least one-year experience in similar role.
- Experience with de-escalation methods.
- Good work history.
- Ability to manage unusual situations and assist in emergencies.
- Must have a valid Drivers License.
- Strong Oral and Written Skills.
- Ability to function effectively as a treatment team member.
- Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct.
- Possess awareness of own strengths and limitations.
- Bilingual/Spanish a plus.
