What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Bagger Technician position at SSW Advanced Technologies?
Primary Responsibilities
- Load/unload components.
- Keep machines running smoothly.
- Replace Film Plastic
- Make Cardboard boxes
- Ensure all guards are securely in place and functioning properly.
- Remove all labels from previous parts orders before packing.
- Pack parts.
- Watch the line or machine for issues and/or crashes and report them immediately to the Team Leader.
- Repair and/or sort parts during the shift or by shift end.
- Maintain maintenance on machines.
- Other jobs as needed.
Assembly Madison
- Must be able to Assemble parts using Rivet Gun.
- Must be able to keep up with the standard production rate.
- Must be able to package parts in boxes.
- Must be able to inspect all parts for defects.
- Must be able to read Assembly Set Up Sheet.
Dylon Station Madison
- Must be able to fill bottles with Dylon lubricant.
- Must be able to apply label to outside of bottle in designated area.
- Must be able to package bottles in plastic bag.
- Must be able to keep up with the standard production rate.
Porcelain Madison
- Hang parts on moving line.
- Inspect parts before hanging on line.
- Must be able to change out hooks or replace when missing or needed.
- Remove parts from moving line without missing a part.
- Visually check part for defects.
- Work at the hook setter station to make sure hooks are set in proper place.
- Be able to take parts from Auto bagger and place in box while line is running.
Essential Functions
- Work safely and champion co-workers to do the same.
- Hourly Team Members must clock in/out daily.
- Report on time to daily Supervisor shift start up meeting.
- Perform work during the scheduled work hours until shift end, meet deadlines, and/or production run rates.
- Team Members should be in place and ready to begin work at shift start and after lunch/breaks.
- Work cooperatively with peers.
- Be respectful and demonstrate professionalism.
- Working overtime is a condition of employment, including being available for call ins as needed.
- Perform 5S daily and comply with the five 5S Rules to Live By.
- Know the 4 key points of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Be able to read, understand, and follow the current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Supervisor/Manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
