Your responsibilities will include helping with daily activities, maintaining a safe environment, and fostering a positive atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor and document patient observations and changes in behavior or condition.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Support clients with dementia care techniques to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical activities as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of CPR techniques is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with care plans and patient observation protocols is beneficial.
- Ability to cook healthy meals and assist with meal preparation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
