Job Description
St. Albans School is seeking an Admissions and Financial Aid Coordinator to provide administrative
support services to St. Albans School’s Admissions Department.
Specifically, the well-qualified candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Provide telephone, email, direct mail, and in-person support to all families making inquiry
the Admissions and Financial Aid Office
- Collaborate with admissions colleagues on strategy for attracting and enrolling students
- Help families gain a full understanding of the School and its programs
- Manage admissions calendar and monitor online tour appointment scheduling for Lower
School and shadow visit appointments for Upper School, prepare name tags for all student
visitors
- Greet and welcome all prospective families coming in for general information, tours and
- Conduct applicant interviews and assist with leading tours
- Manage day-to-day maintenance of Ravenna® application system including processing
applicant forms/files, data entry, tracking applicant progress, online event setup, interview
delegation, and admissions committee review preparation
- Evaluate and work directly with Ravenna® vendor to strategically improve the online
- Independently manage the summer rollover process of the Ravenna® platform to begin a
- Interface directly with Clarity® to strategically improve the online financial aid application
- Prepare online notifications in Ravenna® as well as physical acceptance letters for admitted
the year as needed
- Assist with financial aid spreadsheets
- Assist with transfer of admissions and financial aid data into the online platforms
- Attend and provide support for testing days, open house, school fairs, orientations, and
- Submit food and facilities requests for all admissions tours and events, order and update
- Update the school’s admissions website with important dates, information about the
- Compile statistical data for internal and external surveys and reports
- Exhibits an ability to learn and grow in becoming an articulate champion of St. Albans
School’s endeavors and brand ambassador of the School’s mission.

Salary Range: $26-$35/hour- Depending upon education and experience.

Professional Experience & Qualifications
Minimum Experience: Two years of work experience in a similar role in a school, university
or nonprofit organization; requires strong computer skills and
proficiency in using products within the Microsoft Suite
Education: A completed 4-year Bachelors’ Degree
Certifications: N/A
Preferred Qualifications:
- Administrative and/or admissions experience within an independent school setting.
- Experience using Ravenna Solutions®, Clarity®, and Blackbaud® software.
- Exhibits personal and professional integrity as well as respect for the confidentiality of
- Exhibits excellent planning, prioritization, organization, multitasking, efficiency and follow-

Working Conditions
Schedule: Ability to work that may be flexible as the role requires attendance at school events that
may occur outside of the core school hours (i.e., night or weekend admissions event); schedule will
often be Monday through Friday between the general hours of 8 AM to 5 PM. The candidate will be
standing or sitting for extended periods, ability to climb stairs, carry equipment, work at a computer
for extended periods, walk for extended lengths of time over a large sprawling campus.
Work Environment:: Generally, work is performed in an office with occasional work required in an
outdoor environment of varied weather conditions.
