BLS certification required
Ok for first-time travelers
Prefer experience with trach and BiPAP, not required
RNs required to titrate drips
Lasix, Heparin drip experience preferred
Charge Nurse on each shift
RN not required to read and interpret telemetry strips
Schedule Information
Shifts : 0700-1930, 1900-0730; may consider block scheduling
Weekend Requirement : Every other
Holiday Requirement : As needed
No Call or Standby requirement
Floating to other MedSurg units as needed
No specific scrub color; dress code as per facility standards

of Beds : 31
Nurse to Patient Ratios : Days 1 : 4-5, Nights 1 : 5-6
Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Adults and geriatrics, Strokes, HTN, COPD, Cellulitis, CHF, and more
