Certification Details BLS ACLS PALS TNCC Job Details House Supervisor position at St Alexius Health Devils Lake Hospital Acts as clinical supervisor for all departments Coordinates staffing for on-coming shifts Serves as subject matter expert in clinical nursing departments Resource for all staff Minimum of 3 years house supervisor or manager experience required Travel experience required Prefer strong ED / Trauma background but will consider MS / ICU experience Will they take patient assignment : As needed (rarely assigned patients, but may be needed as helping hands) Will they be responsible for arranging transfers? : Yes Will they be required to mix medications? : Yes Charge nurse duties included Job Requirements Minimum of 3 years house supervisor or manager experience Travel experience required Strong ED / Trauma background preferred Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Preferred Certifications : NRP Schedule Information 12-hour shifts from 0630-1900 Every other weekend required Holiday requirements : Yes (if contract through Dec 31, would expect them to work one holiday) Self-scheduling allowed to an extent Block scheduling allowed Unit Specific Information 3 shifts of unit / department specific orientation with support of managers after orientation via phone / in-person if needed Scrub Color / Dress Code : Any color Rounding / Safety Huddles : Yes Additional Details NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract) Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions Radius Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity
