Certification Details BLS Job Details Job Title : OR Tech Job Description : Responsible for cleaning and wrapping of instruments and cleaning of scopes, with experience in OB cesareans and scopes. Job Requirements Required Skills : OR Tech must know cleaning and wrapping of instruments and cleaning of scopes. Experience in OB cesareans and scopes preferred. 2 years of experience preferred, but not required. Previous travel experience preferred, but not required. Schedule Information Monday-Friday 6a-2 : 30p with 1 in 3 on call after hours. 1-2 nights of call required during the week. Every 3rd weekend on call. Rotating holiday call coverage - 6 recognized CHI holidays. Call response time : 20 mins, but we respond ASAP. Unit Specific Information Scrubbing required or willingness to learn to scrub is mandatory. Block scheduling allowed. Scrub Color / Dress Code : ceil blue - hospital scrubs provided but staff can bring their own ceil blue scrubs. Additional Details BLS certification required. Department : OR RN No clinical involvement. Radius Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit.
