Job Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Department: Respiratory Therapy
- No clinical involvement
Job Duties:
- Performing ABGs, EKGs, and other respiratory duties
- Utilizing EMR: Meditech
Work Environment:
- Hospitalist or Intensivist available 24/7
- No Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist on site during weekdays
Equipment:
- PB980
- HAMILTON C1
- V60 bipap
Requirements:
- National Board Respiratory Therapy License required at time of submission
- Required certifications: CRT or RRT (preferred), BLS, ACLS
- Independent experience required
Schedule Information:
- 12-hour shifts from 7am-7pm, rotating days and nights
- Every third weekend required
- Holidays observed
- Return to work (RTO) needed upfront within 7 days of contract start date
Unit Specific Information:
- Treating patients across all age ranges (0-100)
- Covering ER, inpatient, and some outpatient areas
- One to two weeks of unit-specific orientation based on experience
