  • Department : Respiratory Therapy
  • NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT
  • Job Duties : ABG's, EKG, all Resp duties
  • EMR : Meditech
  • Hospitalist or Intensivist in house 24 / 7 : Yes
  • Is there a Respiratory Manager / Supervisor / Lead Therapist on each shift? : No, days M-F
  • Would the traveler ever be the only RT in-house? : Yes
  • RT Equipment : PB980, Hamilton C1, V60 bipap

    • Job Requirements

  • ND Respiratory Therapy License required at the time of submission
  • Required Certifications : CRT or RRT (preferred), BLS, ACLS
  • Experience or 'Must have' skills : Independent
  • How many years of experience required? : 1
  • Previous Travel experience required? : No

    • Schedule Information

  • Shifts & Scheduling Details : 12 hour shifts 7-7, rotates days and nights
  • Weekend Requirements : Every 3rd weekend
  • Holiday Requirements : Yes
  • RTO needed upfront : 7 or less days per 13 week contract
  • Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Types of patients : all age ranges 0-100
  • Areas covered : ER, inpatient and some outpatient
  • How many shifts of unit / department specific orientation? : 1 - 2 weeks depending upon experience
  • No self-scheduling, no block scheduling

    • Additional Details

  • Fit Testing / Facial Hair : Note that if a clinician has facial hair, they must pass either the Primary or Secondary fit test.
