Job Details

  • CT Tech position at St Alexius Health Williston Medical Center
  • Department : CT Tech
  • Common types of imaging / studies performed : Adults and pediatrics, Strokes, STEMI, trauma, abdominal pain, head injury, kidney stone, CTA.
  • High volume of outpatient CTs scheduled M-F 8-5
  • Fast paced department with excellent teamwork.

    • Job Requirements

  • BLS certification required
  • Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Verification
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Verification
  • ARRT (R) with CME requirements met for CT or ARRT (CT)

    • Schedule Information

  • 7a-7p, 7p-7a shifts
  • Variable weekend requirements depending on schedule
  • Every other holiday requirement
  • 3-12 hour shifts for unit / department specific orientation

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Team scheduling
  • Self-scheduling not allowed
  • Additional RTO needed upfront; additional RTO will not be approved after submissions

    • Additional Details

  • No clinical involvement
  • Will cover x-ray after hours from 2330-0700 unless high volume of CTs
  • Utilize a PACS and Centralized Response Team Inquire System (CRTIS)
  • Philips 128 slice primary, Philips 16 slice backup, and Bracco injectors
  • No staff radiologist in-house
  • Travelers tend to stay for a year and report positive experiences
