What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Annual Giving & Grants position at St. Ambrose University?
The Advancement Department is seeking a Director of Annual Giving and Grants. This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating and overseeing strategies and operational plans to meet goals and objectives established for all annual gift solicitation programs including, but not limited to, those for alumni, faculty and staff, friends, parents, corporations and other organizations. Successful candidate will have the ability to function effectively in a fast paced and collegial environment, excellent leadership and strategic planning skills, and a keen focus on integrating and implementing all methods of giving are required to achieve a successful outcome each year. Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred with a minimum of 3 to 5 years fundraising experience as a front-line staff person, preferably in higher education or closely related area of philanthropy. Individual must have demonstrated success working with volunteers, statistical analysis and program management; proficiency using Microsoft Suite, the internet and e-mail are required.
