What are the responsibilities and job description for the English Adjunct Instructor position at St. Ambrose University?
The Department of English is currently seeking part-time adjunct instructors to teach lower-division composition courses for Fall 2024. Available course includes: ENGL 101, English Composition: Introduction to university writing. Practices may include writing as rewriting, writing from sources, writing for an audience, developing a voice, and editing. Applicants should hold a Master's Degree in English or a closely related field. All classes will be offered on-campus and seated. No sections will be offered online. Demonstrated classroom proficiency in the form of undergraduate teaching experience is preferred.
