The Dietary Aide provides assistance as directed in dietary functions and activities.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Food preparation and tray service
- Monitors residents during meal times and assists residents with meals as needed.
- Transports meals up to resident rooms using meal carts.
- Follows through on Cafeteria/dining room clean-up and organization.
- Washes and dries all dishes as needed and puts them away in proper storage.
- Cleans kitchen, and sweeps/mops kitchen floors after shifts.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education:
- High School Diploma or its equivalency.
- Must have the ability to read, speak, write, and follow simple oral and written directions.
