Your Responsibilities:
✔ Medical Records & Clerical Support
- Maintain and organize medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers, keeping records up to date.
- Transcribe new orders into the electronic medical record for licensed staff verification.
- Ensure all records are complete, signed, and properly filed.
✔ Communication & Coordination
- Serve as the communication hub for the unit—answer calls, coordinate appointments, and schedule resident transportation.
- Collaborate with different departments to support smooth operations.
- Greet and assist residents, family members, visitors, and vendors in a positive and professional manner.
✔ Administrative & Safety Responsibilities
- Monitor medication storage, automatic stop orders, and report any equipment malfunctions.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED required, with clerical experience (healthcare experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic medical records and office software.
- Communication: Ability to interact with staff, residents, and families with empathy and professionalism.
- Team Player: Someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative setting.
