The Admissions Office team is the initial contact for prospective families and must always present St. Andrew’s mission and educational philosophy professionally and effectively. The Admissions team works to enroll a diverse group of mission-appropriate students who embrace and demonstrate the school’s core values. The Admissions Associate is a core member of the admission team and will provide K-12 support and work on both campuses, three days a week at the Southwest Parkway Campus and two days a week at the 31st Street Campus.

Duties & Responsibilities
Admissions Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support, upload documents, monitor and maintain records using the admissions database for K to 12 applicant files.
- Coordinate visits and school tours and articulate the mission of St. Andrew’s.
- Organize and support the student shadow visit process, including coordinating SAS student ambassadors and hosts.
- Welcome and assist prospective families through the admissions process.
- Respond to email and telephone inquiries in a timely, professional, and detailed manner.
- Conduct parent interviews and provide detailed write-ups for admissions committee review.
- Serve as the assistant to the Director of Enrollment Management & Financial Aid as well as providing administrative support as needed to the admissions team.
- Represent St. Andrew’s at recruitment fairs, Open House events, and other internal and external admission events.
- Support marketing and branding efforts, including social media posts, creating and editing video content, and taking photographs.
- Assist with the onboarding and communications with new families.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and represent St Andrew’s in a positive and professional manner.
- Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage deadlines.
- High standard of professionalism including maintaining confidentiality, strong work ethic, and business attire for parent meetings and admissions events.
- Availability to work weekends and evenings for admission related events and duties, especially during high admissions season November 1 to March 1.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- One to three years of experience in an admissions office, administrative position, or teaching in an independent school.
- Experience working with children from age 4 to grade 12 in a school setting.
- Experience with Blackbaud, specifically the Enrollment Management program, our admissions database portal, as well as use of Microsoft Products, Adobe, Canva, and MailChimp.
