St. Andrew’s Kindergarten Support Teachers work closely with the Lead Teacher and grade-level team to create a positive and supportive learning environment for our students. The ideal candidate will collaborate on instruction, assist with classroom management, and support the emotional and social development of young learners. Support teachers step into the Lead Teacher role in the absence of the Lead Teacher, ensuring smooth classroom operations and continuity of instruction.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Experience working with young children, particularly in a classroom setting.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Knowledge of child development and social-emotional learning practices.
- Support the Mission and Episcopal Identity of the school
- Attend Responsive Classroom Training and provide consistent social and emotional development for students in a positive and collaborative learning environment
- Attend daily chapel
- Understand that they are more than just a classroom teacher & approach situations with a “student-first” mindset
