The position will also involve full participation in the extracurricular and student life programs of this residential community.
Job Responsibilities:
- Four class sections;
- Two seasons of athletic coaching or two seasons of a major, non-athletic extracurricular program;
- Dormitory duty once or twice a week;
- Weekend duty once every four weekends;
- Participation in school committees and activities;
- Adhere to the schools dress code.
Skills and experience:
- Interested candidates should have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, literature, or a closely related field; teaching experience is beneficial but not required.
- Candidates must have a passion for working with and living in community with adolescents.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License (not suspended, revoked or canceled, or disqualified from driving).
- Candidates with the experience to coach any of our sports programs will be given strong consideration in this search. More specifically, we have coaching openings in football, basketball, field hockey, squash, crew, volleyball, and tennis.
